Whole House Inspections
Whether you’re a buyer or a seller, when you order an inspection from Pine Ridge Inspections, I work for you. I promise to provide a complete inspection and honest, unbiased report, so you can make educated decisions about the property in question.
As an InterNACHI member, you can trust that I am a highly trained, professional residential home inspector. With my background as a builder, I have a thorough understanding of all building components, giving me the ability to check for and identify problems other inspectors might overlook.
I encourage clients to join me for the inspection so I can point out important home features and explain any potential issues we come across. This is a great opportunity for you to ask questions as well. I offer extended hours and weekend appointments in order to make attending your inspection as convenient as possible.
Once your home inspection is complete, your custom report will contain full-color images used to point out potential issues, show you areas of the property that are difficult to access, and identify important components such as gas and water shutoffs, filters, and GFCI’s. All of this will be posted online within 24 hours of the inspection.
What’s included in a residential home inspection?
Mold can grow almost everywhere, indoors, outdoors and in the air. When it lands and spreads where it doesn’t belong, it can cause mild or serious health concerns for you and your family. Because mold can hide where you can’t see it, it is important to have your home inspected by a professional. I provide mitigation recommendations along with your lab results so that you can take the necessary steps to eliminate existing mold and prevent future mold growth.
Radon is an invisible, odorless radioactive gas that is emitted from the earth. It does not affect us outdoors because it is dispersed into the air. However, it can easily seep through a foundation (even through uncracked concrete) and become trapped inside your home. At high enough levels, radon can become a deadly hazard. With special testing, I can detect radon in your home and let you know at what level it is present. If radon is found, don’t worry, it is easily mitigated. This simple test will help ensure the safety of your home and family.
